Indian Woodblock Printing Workshop – Llanymynech
A calm and relaxed introduction to the traditional craft of Indian woodblock printing.
In this small-group workshop you’ll explore the foundations of this heritage technique using hand-carved wooden blocks and carefully selected textile paints. With more time to develop your design, you’ll begin by practising on cotton fabric before printing a greeting card on cotton rag paper and creating your own organic cotton tea towel to take home.
Ideal for beginners, or for anyone attending the taster session on 10th March who would like to continue exploring the process in more depth. All materials provided.
